About Us
S&M Spiteri constructions specialising in Sewer, Water Reticulation /infrastructure, Stormwater Drainage, Earthmoving and Plant Hire, as a company and is a family business which has been handed down from generation to generation with many years of experience and is a quality assured company with all necessary public liability insurance. Its owner/manager Mr Spiteri is an experienced business manager and is listed on Sydney Water’s major and minor works constructor list. Projects are always completed to client’s time schedule and satisfaction.
S&M Spiteri Constructions Pty Ltd operates mainly in the Sydney Metropolitan area. Our services target customers from both commercial and domestic and cater for most sized jobs big or small. The firms family operated business operates with low overhead costs which help to provide a competitive and reliable service to its customers.

PLANT AND EQUIPMENT
S&M Spiteri Constructions Pty. Ltd. have a range of machinery to suit the size of your job from small limited access sites, to large sites.
We currently own and operate small (4Tonne) and medium (20 Tonne) to large (30 Tonne) Excavators all with rock breakers and various size buckets, plus a 4WD Backhoe with attachments auger, rock breaker & various size buckets, S185 Bobcat with attachments, broom, auger, pallet forks and bogie tipper truck.

S&M Spiteri constructions Pty Ltd maintain a very high standard in quality management due to being a family run business. Also catering for government departments which require a quality system to be implemented by all contractors help in delivering a very high standard in workmanship.

CAPABILITY STATMENT
S&M Spiteri Constructions and Plant Hire Company were established in 1972 as a plant hire company.
It is a solely family owned company with Mr. George Spiteri as the Director. Ever since the conception of the company, we have been contracted to work for RTA and Sydney Water.
To diversity our business, we established a civil construction company known as S&M Spiteri Construction P/L in 1987. Our work was mainly with Sydney Water on the water and sewer reticulation and stormwater construction.
We are now a multi-skilled company specialising not only to the above, but also in stormwater drainage structures, we have experience in pipe laying of different products:- DICL, UPVC, PE, VC, MSCL, Concrete and GRP.
We are currently accredited with Sydney Water as a Prequalified Subcontractor in the following categorys
· RW - Recycled Water
· S1 & S2 - Sewer Reticulation DN 150mm-750mm, Sewer rising mains to DN 300 mm.
· W1- Water Reticulation 100mm – 375mm
· W2 – Water Reticulation 375mm – 750mm, Provisionally Listed
· MS – Minor Works
We are now a quality Assured Company accredited to ISO 9002, all our works are performed in strict accordance with our quality system, proper record keeping and effective training programme and up keep in new technologies. We give unconditional guarantee of our workmanship.
All our operators are fully conversant with government and other authority legislation and regulations. They have received full training in Work Cover Compliance Certificate, OH&S Awareness, Environmental Safeguards and Confined Space courses.
We have a range of plant and equipment for hire. Our range of excavators 4T to 30T, backhoe with attachments rock breaker auger with various size buckets, a bobcat with attachments, broom, auger, pallet forks and a bogie tip truck.
All our plant is maintained in accordance with the Manufacture’s specifications. We have a very large size workshop where all our machines are maintained and checked so as to produce peak performance and reliability at all times.
Our company is to achieve customer satisfaction through quality and management. We also provide to our customers our construction feasibility advice, quotations and solutions.
