AN allegedly drunken man driving a stolen front-end loader has led police on a meandering, low-speed chase.

With a stubby of beer allegedly in one hand and the other on the steering wheel of a machine fitted with a massive baling spike, the 23-year-old was first spotted near Yarloop in rural Western Australia late on Tuesday night.

He will appear in Harvey Magistrates Court on Monday to face various charges. AAP
